Dies At Home
BURNETTSVILLE — Mrs.
Mary Duffey, 75, wife of George
Duffey president of the State
Bank here died suddenly at 3
a.m. Sunday at her home.
Born Oct. 6, 1895, in Cass
County she was the daughter of
C. B. and Izora Callaway
Watts.
Her marriage to George Duffey
was on Feb. 20, 1914. He
survives, with three children:
Mrs. Janet Carpenter, Phoenix,
Ariz.; George Jr., Miami, Fla.;
James, of here; six grandchild-
ren.
Also surviving are two bro-
thers and a sister: Harry
Watts, Logansport; Fred C.
Watts, Boulder, Colo.; Mrs,
Jessie Saunders, California.
A life resident here she was
a member of the Center Presbyterian
Church near Lake Cicott
and the Eastern Star at Monticello.
Friends may call at Miller
Funeral Home, Monticello. Rites
will be there at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday
with the Rev. Carl Polstra
officiating. Burial will be in
Davis Cemetery at Burnettsville.
