08/22/05 - Mr. Harry Moses, Sr., 89, of Vidalia died Sunday. Mr. Moses was Vidalia's Citizen of the Year in 1977. He was a bomber pilot in WWII and served 20 months in a German POW camp after being shot down on his 19th mission over Germany. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Moses of Vidalia; daughter Mary Ann King of Tybee Island; sons and daughters-in-law Harry P. and Jackie Moses, Jr.; and Russell M. and Charlotte Moses, Sr.; both of Vidalia; seven grandchildren and seven great grand-children; sister and brother-in-law Mary Helen and Ralph Smith of Atlanta; and brother and sister-in-law Jack and Jean Moses of Vidalia. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Pinecrest Cemetery. Visitation is Monday night from seven till nine at Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service of Vidalia.
