Sgt. Allen of Mesa, Arizona graduated from high school in 1993 and was a member of both a school program for marketing studies and an anti-drunk driving organization. Paul served in Iraq from March 2005 September 2005. He was a cook with the Army National Guard who was performing the duties of an MP and was a driver. He was a fine soldier, a wonderful husband, father, son, and friend to many. His awards and decorations include, Good Conduct Medal (Army and Navy), Navy Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Navy Arctic Service Ribbon, Enlisted Submarine Breast Insignia, Army Achievement Medal, Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. He is survived by his wife, Patience whom he Married in November 2004, son Devlin, stepchildren: Caitlyn and Edwin Stevens, Father and Step-mother: Herb and Irene Allen, sister: Diane Alsobrook, Stepbrothers: Robert, Brian, and Steven Cross, one niece, two nephews and friend Robert Stevens. He is predeceased by his mother, Barbara Allen. He was 31.
