Pamela "Kay" Arnold, age 64, of Aurora, Missouri, formerly of Monett, Missouri, passed away at 2:04 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at the Aurora Nursing Center. She was born August 27, 1949, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Harold and Betty Lou (Myers) Wilks. Kay was a 1967 graduate of West High School in Wichita, Kansas, and attended Wichita Business College for two years. Kay was a Certified Nurses Aid working in the home health care field for Cox Health Systems, and was a member of the Beth-Eden Baptist Church in Wichita. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her father, Harold Wilks of Aurora; two sisters, Dianna Young and her husband, Ronnie, of Aurora and Sharon Ott-Deal and her husband, Jack, of Shell Knob, Missouri; one step brother, Ed Fritchman of Wichita, Kansas; two step sisters, Cecilia Fritchman of Norman, Oklahoma and Carol Saiz of Wichita, Kansas, as well several nieces, nephews and cousins. Her mother, Betty Lou Wilks, stepmother, Nancy Wilks and stepsister, Elana Fritchman, preceded her in death. A graveside service under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2013, at the Spring River Cemetery in Verona, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to the Southwest Center for Independent Living in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be shared at this website.
