Frances B. Satterfield Scott, 87, of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed on to her heavenly father on October 29, 2011.
She was born in Clarksburg WV, the eldest child of Rhoden W. and Leafie A. Goldsmith Richards.

Frances was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of Grantsville, and took much pride in cooking for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Ocie Nell Richards and Janette Larkin.

Surviving, brother Hagan Richards of Fairmont WV and a sister Patricia (Frank) Kendall of New Martinsville WV.

Also surviving are the pride and joy of her life, her children, Sanford and Steven (Joan) Satterfield of Grantsville; Stewart (Marlene) Satterfield of Barberton OH, and her only daughter, Sherry (Rick) Butt of Mt. Zion WV; and six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in the Nobe Cemetery.
