HASTINGS - Mrs. Ada Byrd, 81, died Saturday, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Mitchell, St. Augustine; 3 sons, Earl, Elkton, Milton, DeRidder, La., and Norman, Hastings; a sister, Mrs. Eva Langford, Hastings; 11 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Mt. Olive Baptist Church with burial in Pellicer Creek Cemetery.

Craig Funeral Home is in charge.

BYRD – Mrs. Ada Byrd, 81, died Saturday. She is the widow of William Byrd of Hastings. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Hastings with the Rev. Bert Smith, officiating. Burial will be in Pellicer Creek Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel at Craig Funeral Home from 4 p.m. Sunday until the hour of the services.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Mitchell, St. Augustine; 3 sons, Earl, Elkton, Milton, DeRidder, La., and Norman, Hastings; a sister, Mrs. Eva Langford, Hastings; 11 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
