Odell Sanderson, age 88, of Muscle Shoals, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012. Mr. Sanderson was a native of Cherokee, Ala. and was retired from General Motors.
He is survived by his wife, Della Letha Sanderson; sons, Jimmy Ray Sanderson, Thomas Hubbard Sanderson and wife, Kathy; daughter, Brenda Laster Sanderson; brother, Charles Ray Sanderson; sisters, Eva Dean Borden and Imogene Askew; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday noon-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Randy Tanner officiating. Burial will be in Piney Grove Church of Christ Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Kelly Sanderson, Kerry "Twig" Sanderson, Jeremy Sanderson, Carl Sanderson, Joe Pounders and Vertis Driver.
