Martha Ellen Hayden, 90, of Covington, passed away at 11:28 a.m. EDT Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at Hickory Creek of Crawfordsville, Ind.

She was born Oct. 15, 1923 in Fountain County, Indiana to Imless and Leona Storey Barnett. She married Francis A. Hayden in February of 1941. He preceded her in death in October 1984. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Olson and a son-in-law, Jerry Burroughs.

She is survived by four children, Marvin (Gertrude) Hayden, Francis A. Hayden Jr., Ruth Burroughs and David Hayden Sr; 11 grandchildren, Wes (Jonna) Hayden, Erick Hayden, David Hayden Jr., Carlo Hayden, Steve (Donna) Hayden, Mike Schnarr, John (Paula) Olson, Rick Olson, Francis A. (Cecilia) Hayden III, Suzette Bergner and Linda Bainbridge; 17 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

She had worked as a supervisor at ATI in Danville until her retirement.
