She lived in Putnam County most of her life except for a short period of time that she and her husband lived in Ada, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and mother most of her adult life and had over 35 grandchildren and more than 130 great grandchildren when she died. She lived on the Dyer Ridge Rd near Baxter, TN from the mid 1960s to 1980 in two different houses on that road. We usually had a homecoming and birthday celebration for her on May 30th at her home on the ridge. Most of her kids, grandkids, and a few great grandkids were in attendence. She made quilts for her living kids and grandkids in the last years of her life.
