Richard F. Arbuckle, 59, died at 9 20 p.m. Friday at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Danville.

He was born Aug. 7, 1922, in Hudson, a son of George and Mabel Carpenter Arbuckle.

Surviving are two brothers, Carroll and Edwin, six sisters, Evelyn Hicks, GRuth Burge, Doris Coffey, Ruby Hatcher, Marjorie Peasley and Betty Tomlinson,

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.

He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict.

He worked most of his life as a farm laborer.
