Sue was the daughter of Clarence and Ruth Tamblyn Bean. She married Russell "Bud" Light on May 18, 1963, in Salem, Mo.
Surviving are two sons, Rusty Light and Chris "Pete" (and Cyndi) Light, three daughters, Angie (and Mark) McGruder, Darla (and John) Chismark and Becky (and David) Wiley, one brother, Frank (and Barb) Bean, two sisters, Lois Ingold and Sharon Greer, 17 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
She was a certified nurse's aide at Monte Cassino Health Care in Toluca for more than 10 years and later provided home health-care services in the Marshall and Woodford county areas.
