In memory of Benjamin Vining, Esq. Eldest son of the late John Vining, Esq. Who departed this life universally Beloved and Regretted On the 24th day of November 1785 A.I. 34 Within this narrow Space a while confined Rests an honest man thus to dust consigned Reader, as you approach this sacred urn This last lesson from his Epitaph Learn to die is nothing but to live again is joy eternal for eternal pain Virtues like his the pure reward shall meet And Angels hail him to their blissful seat
