Louise Purefoy McClung, age 60, of 741 Linwood Road, passed away Sunday p.m. at a local hospital. She is survived by her husband, Jesse N. McClung, Sr; one son, Dr. Jesse N. McClung, Jr. of Birmingham; one daughter, Joyce (Mrs. James E.) Reed of Mesa, Arizona; mother, Margaret Watson (Mrs. Robert P.) Purefoy of Talladega, Alabama; one sister, Margaret Ula (Mrs. Jerome H.) Bowen and one brother, Robert P. Purefoy, Jr., both of Little Rock, Arkansas; six grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Elmwood Chapel, interment Elmwood Cemetery with Dr. Lamar Jackson officiating. Elmwood Chapel, 1512 Montevallo Road S.W., directing.
