ROGER M. MOENICH, age 81. Loving husband of Jean (nee Muniak); wonderful father of Joseph (Gary Chappel), Teresa Hlavacek (David), Jeffrey (Teresa), Kenneth (Kathy), Thomas (Renee); grand--father of Matthew Hlavacek (Hannah), Bryan Hlavacek, Mary, Grace, Faith, EmilyAnn, Claire and Nicholas Moenich; uncle to many nieces and nephews; he is survived by his brother, Glenn; predeceasing him are two brothers and three sisters. Passed away peacefully at home, Oct. 29, 2013. US Army Veteran Korean War. He was a Union carpenter for 59 years, Local 1108 and then 435. He spent many years working for various contractors and on numerous jobs in and around Cleveland. Loved golf, photography, and making furniture for his children. Always there to supervise any project they came up with. Volunteered along with his wife, at the gift shop at Parma Hospital for the past three years. He sang in the funeral choir at St. Francis de Sales. Roger was a good brother, brother-in-law, friend, uncle and neighbor to many. His presence will be missed in all our lives. I will miss his hand in mine. Prayer Services Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013 at THE MALLCHOK FUNERAL HOME, 5660 RIDGE RD., PARMA, OH at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church at 10 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AT THE FUNERAL HOME FRIDAY 2-4 AND 6-8 PM. Memorials may be sent to Holy Family Hospice, 6707 State Rd., Parma, OH 44134.
