died Friday at St. Mary's Hospital
after a brief illness.
Mrs. Peterson, the former
Beatrice Lavigne, was born In
Cornwall, Canada, and resided
in the Troy Area for 63 years.
She was a retired machine
operator for Nirenberg's Shirt
Factory, retiring in 1961, and
formerly worked at Cluett, Peabody
Co., Inc., in the same capacity.
She was the widow of
Charles C. Peterson, and was a
communicant of St. Augustine's
Church.
Survivors include two sons,
Andrew Peterson of California
and Robert Peterson of Troy;
tow sisters, Mrs. Louis Allen of
Ballston Spa and Mrs. Victoria
Bandel of Little Falls; eight
grandchildren and seven great
grandchildren.
The funeral will be Tuesday
at 10:30 a.m. from the Mason
Funeral Home, 109th Street and
Third Ave., and at 11 a.m. from
St. Augustine's Church, where
the Liturgy of Christian Death
and Burial will be celebrated.
Interment will be in Oakwood
Cemetery.
