George Thomas Morris, 90, of Jefferson, R. D. 1, died at his home at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 1953. Death, caused by a heart attack, followed an illness of three years.
A son of the late Stephen and Mary Calvert Morris, the deceased was born March 17, 1863, at Garards Fort. A farmer by occupation, he resided most of his life in Jefferson Township.
Surviving are his wife, Emma Ankrom Morris, whom he married Nov. 9, 1907; one daughter, Mrs. Isabel Pitcock of Jefferson; three sons, William Lloyd, Charles Glenn and Furman Morris, all of Jefferson; one brother, Reed Morris of Jefferson Township, and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Rinehart of Jefferson and Luella Morris of Holbrook, R. D. 1.
