Retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years service, and from the Big Creek Utility District in Coalmont. He was a member of Altamont Church of Christ and a longtime leader in AA. He enjoyed photography, fishing and bowling. He served at treasurer for the Treasure of Truth Worldwide Broadcast.
