Deceased Name: Weldon E. Scroggins

NORMAN — Weldon E. Scroggins, 92, of Pottsboro, Texas, passed away March 15, 2013, in Sherman, Texas, of natural causes.

Weldon was born in Quail, Texas on May 18, 1920. He was a graduate of Moore High School and joined the Navy in WWII. After the war, he resided in Norman and was the owner of Norman Produce Co.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Robert L. and Ada Scroggins.

He is survived by his wife, Betty of the home; his children, Edward L. Scroggins of Norman, Marilyn McClanahan of Austin, Texas and Billy Don Scroggins of Carbondale Colo.; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

As per his request his body was donated to the University of Texas South West Medical Center in Dallas Texas. A family only graveside memorial will be held at the Preston Bend Cemetery near Pottsboro, Texas at a later date.
