Mr. Cessna was a lifelong resident of Utica and a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a retired mechanic for Hubbard Chevrolet in Utica. He was a member of the Utica Baptist Church where he was a member of the Men's Bible Class.
Survivors include: his wife, Edna M. Cessna of Utica; one daughter, Della Leach of Utica; four sons, Arthur Eugene Cessna of Stafford, VA, Bill Cessna of Raymond, Fred Cessna of Utica, and Roy Cessna of Crystal Springs; a brother, Francis Cessna of Utica; 12 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Utica Baptist Church or Salem Cemetery.
