husband of Anna Fay Riddle Cornwell, passed away Monday, April 8, 2013. He was a 76 year old native of Menifee County, son of the late Cleatis and Parenta Mullins Cornwell, a retired truck driver and a member of the Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 sons, Larry Dean (Debra) Cornwell of Farmers, Bryan and Foley Cornwell, both of Winchester, 2 daughters, Rebecca Francis Cornwell of Richmond and Haley Henderson of Winchester, 4 stepdaughters, Sherry (Eddie) Cornwell of Menifee County, Monna (Buddy) Jarman and Kimberly (Eugene) Markland, both of Jeffersonville and Peggy (Arthur Jr.) Johnson of Mt. Sterling, a stepson, Douglas (Trish) Blakeman of Lexington, a brother, Lonnie (Loretta) Cornwell of Jeffersonville, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Cornwell, a stepson, Barry Blakeman, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. His funeral will be 1:00 Thursday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Byrd Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8:00 Wednesday.
