BELVA DRAKE
Belva M. Drake, 89, Elwood, died Saturday at the Dickey Nursing Home in Elwood after an extended illness.
Born March 14, 1915, in Grant County , she was the daughter of Lester and Rella Dill Dimick. She married Clifford M. Drake. He died Feb. 14, 1991.
She was a retired tax accountant and a 65-year member of the East Main Street Christian Church and the Martha Circle.
Survivors include one sister, Florence Heflin of Elwood and a half-brother, Paul Gillam of Scottsville, Ky.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Frances Dimick.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Copher & Fesler Funeral Home. The Rev. Roger Gardner will officiate. Burial will be at the Elwood City Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
