For five seasons (2000 to 2003 and 2005), he played at the linebacker position in the National Football league with the Tennessee Titans, Cincinnati Bengals and Houston Texans. Born Frank Jacob Chamberlin, he attended Mahwah High School in New Jersey and played collegiate football at Boston College. His accomplishments earned him the school's Scanlan Award in 1999. While with the Eagles, he was originally a fullback who converted to the linebacker position. Selected by Tennessee during the 5th-round of the 2000 NFL Draft, he played in 57 career regular season games. Chamberlin produced a career-high 11 tackles while with the Titans during the 2002 season. After his football career, he worked as an equities trader. He died following a battle with brain cancer.
