Funeral services for Mrs. Verna Mitchell Foss, 60, who was a dancer in the Ziegfeld Follies of 1917 and 1918, will be conducted today at Pierce Brothers Little Church Around the Corner, 3443 West Manchester Blvd. Mrs. Foss died of a heart ailment Sunday at her home, 269 South Mariposa Ave. She was the mother of the late Geneva Mitchell, who was featured in the Ziegfeld and Schubert shows in the 1920s and who later became a Hollywood film player. Miss. Mitchell died in 1949 in Los Angeles. Mrs. Foss leaves a son, Clifford G. Mitchell of Frankfort, Indiana and four sisters, Mrs. Alice Gainer and Mrs. C. G. Jenks of Los Angeles, Mrs. John R.
