Arleen was born August 8, 1919 to William and Hannah (Wandersee) Lange on the family farm in Home Township, Brown County, MN. She was united in marriage to Arthur Seifert on January 17, 1936 in Sleepy Eye, MN. Arleen loved raising her six children. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church. Arleen enjoyed playing cards especially bridge and 500, and enjoyed ballroom dancing.
Arlene is survived by sons: Thomas (JoAnn) of Sleepy Eye, Scott (Joyce) of Apple Valley, James (Rita) of Savage, John (Darleen) of Sleepy Eye; daughters: Marilyn (Donald) Mathiowetz of Springfield, Patricia Seifert of Sleepy Eye; 7 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and sister: Sadie Ladd of Benson.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Arthur in 2007; brothers: Jake & Bernard; sisters: Helen Schweiger, Edna Friton, Frieda Bruess & Violet "Toots" Rono and two grandchildren.
