Children's names and birth dates obtained fron the 1870 and 1880 census; Raymond Howard's information was taken from his death record which states that his parents are Robert and Rosanna Pollock. He is never recorded as Raymond on a census, but I suspect son "Layman" is actually Raymond on the 1870 census?
Robert Pollock (spelled Polock on the list) is recorded in the Defiance County Enumeration of Males pg 130 (yr 1855). In 1860 he and Rosanna are recorded living in Wilmington Twp., DeKalb Co., IN; by 1870 they are back in Washington Twp., Defiance Co., OH
