Marion "Bud" Cattin, 80, of Augusta, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in Wichita. Viewing will be before the service at 1 pm Saturday, December 7, 2013, Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.

Marion was born in Alva, Oklahoma on December 11, 1932, to the late Irene Leona (Davis) and James Harold Cattin. He served in the U.S. Navy as a EN3. Bud worked as a mechanic at J & B Implement, Mobil Refinery, New Holland and Knebler Construction. He was a member of Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star and Midian Shrine. On September 14, 1958 he married Violet (Cheslic) Cattin in Attica, Kansas and she survives him. He is also survived by: daughter, Debra Taylor and husband Danny of El Dorado; son, David Cattin of Augusta; and daughters, Donna Borger and husband Darren of Andover; and Diane Cattin of Augusta; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, James Cattin, Jr. and Bill Gordon; sisters, Betty Wade, Vynonne Pullin, Nelda Secrest, Opal Hayes, and Vera Morris; nieces, Vileatha Luske and Donna Rose Secrest; and nephew, Gary Lynn Secrest.
