Ira Samuel Perkins, 83, passed away December 7, 2013, at a local healthcare facility. Mr. Perkins served in the US Army Infantry in the Korean Conflict and a Southern Baptist pastor and missionary for over fifty years.
His survivors include his wife of 60 years, Betteye J. Perkins; son, Roger D. (Pam) Perkins; grandchildren, David (Christy) Perkins, Sunny (Kenneth) Harrison; great grandsons, Austin, Noah, Micah, Luke; other relatives and friends.
