Corpus Christi, TX - Luis Lerma Jr., age 71, passed away on December 17, 2013. Luis was born on September 6, 1942 to Luis Lerma Sr. and Antonia Vasquez Lerma in Corpus Christi, Tx. He served in the Army from 1960 to 1964. Luis was employed by Payless Shoes; he also enjoyed fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He will always be remembered for his quiet nature and his devotion to family. He was a loving father. Luis is preceded in death by his parents Luis Lerma Sr. and Antonia Saldana.
Luis is survived by his loving wife Amelia Lerma; three sons, Louis Lerma III, Richard Lerma and John Lerma; four grandchildren, Anthony Lerma, John Lerma, Tad Lerma; one granddaughter, Lauren Lerma; two great-grandchildren, Andollina Lerma and Adrian Lerma; sister Lola De Lo Santos; friend, Manel Sedillo; cousin, Daniel Jimenez.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2013 at Seaside Reid Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. that same evening. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Seaside Reid Chapel. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
