COLONY.
Mrs. A. J. (sic) Bennett of this place died at the home of her sister Mrs. Ryan near Rutledge Aug. 21, after a lingering illness of several months. Her's was a beautiful life full of kind words and good deeds, and when the pitying angel came he found her ready. A fond mother, a kind friend, a good neighbor; her loss is felt and regretted by all who knew her.
