Jordan in the firm of Jordan & Hildebrant which existed until he became Wilmington City Solicitor. In 1925 he was nominated & elected City Solicitor & was reelected in 1927. In addition he handles all of the legal business of the Village of New Vienna. On August 22, 1928 at Cincinnati he was married to Ruth Ellen McMurray, teacher of piano at Wilmington College.
