Marjorie spent the greater part of her life in Marinette and was a graduate of Marinette High School, a cheerleader and a Badger Girls State Representative.
She married Peter P. Messenger in St. Anthony Church of Marinette on August 15, 1959.
She had been employed from 1983 until 1993 by the former H.C. Prange Company and later worked as a medial receptionist for Bay Area Medical Center from 1993 until 2003. Over the years she had been a Brownie Troop leader; a member of AFS; a committee member and parent sponsor for UP Olympics and a foster parent.
Marjorie was a devoted mother and grandmother, supporting her family in all of their activities and especially enjoyed attending family sporting events.
She loved the outdoors and time she spent with her family at the cabin. She was a member of Holy Family Parish.
Marjorie is survived by her husband Peter;
their four children: Dan (Patti) of Green Bay, WI; Linda of Fond du Lac, WI; Mike (Coree) and Jeff, both of Green Bay, WI;
8 grandchildren
and one sister Mary Lou Baker.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Kenneth Baker.
Visitation at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home. Funeral services at Holy Family Parish-Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Marinette, WI.
