French Monarch. Also known as Louis I of Flandre. He was Count of Flandre, Nevers and Rethel; Lord of Malines, Baron of Donzy. He was the son of Louis, Count of Nevers and Jeanne of Rethel, and grandson of Robert III of Flandre. He married Marguerite of France, second daughter of Philip V of France. Louis I was killed at the battle of Crécy. He was Lady Diana's 19-Great Grandfather.
