Sylvanus Mayfield, a very well known resident of Toothman's Run, died yesterday at his home after an illness from dropsy and complications. He is survived by his wife formerly Miss Jane Tennant and one daughter, Augusta Hibbs. Two children died on Christmas day of last year. Deceased was aged 67 years and had spent the greater part of his life in the community where his death occurred. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Undertaker Williamson.
