Benjamin and Elizabeth (Baughman) Crisman arrived in Porter County in 1850. Their family: Solomon, Isaac, Addison, Oliver, Henry, Melton, Haney, Wesly, Eliza and Jane. While excating for a service station at the SE corner of US 20 in Section 1, stones were found. One stone had I & J Crisman and another had Wilbur & Martha c/o I & J Crisman. Isaac Crisman was born 3 June 1839 and married Jane White 12 Dec 1870.

I placed their buiral information here because there is no Crisman Cemetery.
