Second child of Benjamin Huger and Mary Kinloch Huger, baptized on July 12, 1776. Died in Charleston where her mother and siblings were forced to live after British occupation. Buried in the family vault.

December 16, 1785 letter from Mary Esther Kinloch Huger . . . "He[Benjamin] was killed in the field of Battle, & eight months after I had a son, whom I called Benoni but this with two other dear infants I lost in the midst of the troubles in which our unhappy Country was involved, I saw them deposited in the family Vault myself, because there was no one else to do that last friendly office . . ."
