Moses Francis Grimes was the son of James and Abigail (Johnson) Grimes. He was the husband of Ruth (Ketchum) Grimes. They were married February 13, 1812. Ruth died December 31, 1871. Moses came from Washington County, New York in 1811, and located In Park Settlement. He filled several public offices.
