Sufferer of Months Finally succumbed to Serious Affliction
-----
Telitha Hampton, aged 41, residing at 1927 South M Street, died Saturday afternoon at her home. she had been a sufferer for several months with a canerous affection (affliction). Death was certainly a relief to her.
the stomach, bowels and liver were affected and later there was evidence of an encroach of the same affection on the breast. Mrs Hampton, realizing that there was no help for her, was resigned to death, and said with true Chrisitan fortitude, that the call was with the Master's sanction and that all was well.
The husband and three surviving children have the sympathy of all who knew the good woman. The funeral which will take place Tuesday morning in the Gospel Worker's Church in South Elwood will be well attended by the friends and neighbors. Rev Doyle will conduct the services. The burial will be in the Elwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Hampton was one a twin sisters, her sister residing in Elwood. The deceased and her sister were born in Kentucky in 1866. They have resided nearly all of their lives in Indiana.
