DORA MARIA EVERETTE, FORMER WILLAMINA RESIDENT, PASSES
WILLAMINA, Jan. 21 - Word was received here of the death of Dora Maria Everette in a hospital at Tacoma, Wash., at the age of 94 years.
Funeral services were held in the Buckley-King Funeral parlors with the Rev. Carl A. Johnson of the First Christian church officiating.
Dora Maria Lamson, daughter of the late Jeremiah and Helen Hawks Lamson, was born at Clatsop Plains, near Astoria, on July 20, 1848. When an infant her parents moved to Willamina, settling on the Lamson donation land claim.
She attended public school here and was a graduate of Willamette university, having graduated in the class with the daughter of Jason Lee.
