Mary I. (Sarchione) Andriotti, 97, formerly of Alliance, died on Friday, March 25, 2011, at 1:21 p.m. at Crystal Springs Assisted Living Cener in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Born on June 29, 1913, in East St. Louis, Ill., she had lived virtually all of her life in Alliance.
A lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, she was also a member of St. Joseph's Women's Guild.
She was a graduate of Alliance High School Class of 1933, and attended Mount Union College.
Throughout her life she had been employed at several of her family's businesses as secretary and treasurer of Mahoning Auto Sales, Sarchine & Sons, Inc., and Sarchione Realty Co. She was a member of the Chrysler Corporation Honor Society of Accountants.
Mary enjoyed spending as much time as she could with family and friends. She also sponsored local community organizations and became an Allisnce Bowlers Halls of Fame inductee as a result.
Preceding her in death were her husband of 41 years, Louis J. Andriotti, Sr., on January 29, 1980; her parents, Joseph E. and Fannie (Caravella) Sarchione, Sr.; three brothers, Joe Sarchione, Jr., Harry Sarchione, Sr., and two sisters, Elizabeth Admonius and Jane Kuches.
