CHARLES L. HUSTEAD JR., 66, of Land O' Lakes died Thursday. A resident of the area for 18 years, he was a retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army and a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; one daughter, Andrea Ashley of Pullman, Wash.; two sons, Charles III of Fort Bliss, Texas, and Michael of Pasco County; one sister, Claire Carlson of Palo Alto, Calif.; stepmother, Kathryn Hustead of Falls City, Neb.; and two grandchildren.
