Donnie Captola "Cap" Fodge, age 89, died Sunday, March 16 at Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston.

Born January 8, 1925 in Vanduser, daughter of the late William and Ethel (Cooper) Park. She had worked at International Shoe Factory and Kirby's Restaurant before retiring.

On November 17, 1944 she married Earnest Sammy Fodge; he preceded her in death October 14, 2006.

She is survived by two sons, Vyron Fodge of Bloomfield and Donald Fodge of Sikeston; two brothers, John Park of Morehouse and Jim Park of Center, Texas; one sister, Hilda McClung of Sikeston; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Friends may call Wednesday, March 19, from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral services at 3:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. John Tarter, pastor of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, will be officiating.

Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
