Guy was known to be generous with his time or any resource he had to anyone in need. Guy had worked many years at the Hite Company and he attended McLane Church.
Guy was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Lee McGahen Cornwell*, who died September 11, 2013, and a niece, Megan Watson.
Survivors include his son, Lester Cornwell; two brothers, George Cornwell and wife Ann of Mill Village, and William Cornwell and wife Cheryl of Waterford; a sister, Brenda Miller and husband Chuck of Peoria, Ariz.; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Burial will be in Mill Village Cemetery.
