He was a Los Angeles studio musician during the 1960's, and recorded with such performers as Ray Charles, Louie Belson, Stan Kenton, Gladys Knight, and The Rolling Stones. His best known composition was "Like They Say in L.A." which made the Billboard top singles chart. Rusch recorded 5 albums on his own.
