Mrs. Abbie Gore Dead
Mrs. Abbie S. Gore, 76 years old, a resident of Cherokee and Crawford counties for 45 years, died at 1 o'clock Thursday morning, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Graham, 108 East Forest Avenue, Pittsburg.

Mrs. Gore was born May 13, 1851, in Hardin, Kentucky. She lived in Scammon for a number of years, and later moved to Cherokee where she lived until last September, when she moved to Pittsburg to live with her daughter. Her husband, James S. Gore, died in 1915.

Survivors include five other daughters, Mrs. Jessie Reid, 209 East Washington; Mrs. Agnes Pattyson, Columbus; Mrs. Anna Hadlock of this city; Mrs. Alice Ottley, Olathe; and Mrs. Lillian Hadlock, 1405 North Grand, Pittsburg; three sons, Fred Gore, Picher, Okla.; Elmore Gore, Coffeyville; and Robert Gore of Scammon; a sister, Mrs. Annie Hopkins, Garden City, Mo.; a brother, Hiram Atwood, Louisville, Ky.; 37 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Another daughter, Mrs. Florence Isley, died last August in this city. Three children died in infancy.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at the Methodist church in this city, with Rev. F.L. Petit of Pittsburg, in charge.
