MRS. SARA AVEY WYNCOOP, 73, of Marion Center, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 29, 1964, at the home of her cousin, Lynn Wetzel, Edgewater, Florida.

Born April 1, 1890 in Marion Center, she was a daughter of the late Sherwood A. and Dorinda Griffith Wetzel.

She was married to William Avey who preceded her in death in 1931 and married Robert Wyncoop in 1943 who also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Wyncoop was a member of the Marion Center Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons: John Avey, Albion, and Ralph Avey, Evening Shade, Arkansas; six grandchildren and one brother Ernest Wetzel, Sarasota, Florida.

Friends will be received at the Crawford Funeral Home, Marion Center, after 2 p.m. Tuesday where services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:30 p.m., Rev. Joseph Gilkey, officiating. Interment will be made in Marion Center Cemetery.
