OBITUARY :
WILLIAM THOMAS HAMILTON, JR., youngest son of the late Governor William T. Hamilton of Maryland, died at his home in Hagerstown Tuesday morning at 7 o'clock, of pneumonia.

Mr. Hamilton was born on July 15, 1867, in Hagerstown, the son of William T. and Clara Holmes Jenness Hamilton.

He attended St. James School, later going on successively to St. Paul's School, Concord, N. H., and St. John's College, Annapolis. He then pursued his law studies at the University of Munich, in Germany at the conclusion of which he was admitted to the bar, in 1888.

Keenly interested in the growth and development of Hagerstown, Mr. Hamilton was one of the city's greatest boosters.

In 1907, he was married to Mavin Jamison of Hagerstown.

Besides his wife, he is suyrvived by two daughters, Mrs. Eli Huston Brown, III, of Louisville, Ky., and Mrs. James Spencer Lee, of Paris, France; a sister, Mrs. Harold Hayes Eames, Cleveland, Ohio, and five grandchildren; Eli Huston Brown, IV, Marvin Hamilton Brown, William Thomas Hamilton Lee, James Edgar Willing Lee and Julia Hamilton Lee.

Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock on Thursday morning at the residence, with the Rev. Walter B. McKinley officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in Rose Hill Cemetery.
