BLUEFIELD - Clara Mae Sells, 79, of Mountain Ash Drive, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at her home.
Born on December 8, 1934 in Bluefield, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Missouri Williams Cornell. She had been a resident of Green Valley for 10 years and was of the Protestant faith. She formerly worked for Warden’s Market in Bluewell and several other retail establishments.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifford Bailey; her second husband, Billy Lee Sells; 4 brothers; 1 sister; and a grandson, Kevin Thomas.
Survivors include: Son: Donald (Jessie) Bailey of Duhring. 2 stepsons: Rodney Lee Sells of Logan, Dr. Kenneth Wayne Sells of Logan. Daughter: Carolyn Neal and husband Warren of Bluefield. Step-Daughter: Jacqueline Lambert and Alvin of Brushfork. 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Special Friend: John Sullivan of Bluefield. Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Minister Frank Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
