Albert V. Mainiero, 92, Palmyra, formerly of Lebanon, died Friday, December 30, 2005, in the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Grace P. Kline Mainiero of Palmyra and the late Goldie Fawber Mainiero who died in 1986. Born in Hazelton on April 15, 1913, he was the son of the late Leonard and Carmella Pettruzzi Mainiero. He was a retired electrician from Local Union No. 143 and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers No. 143 for 65 years. He was a graduate of technical school and attended the Palmyra Church of the Brethren. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon Lodge No. 226 F.&A.M., Harrisburg Consistory, Zembo Shrine Temple for 55 years; also a member of Hermit Commandry No. 024, KnightsTemplar, Lebanon, Scottish Rite for 40 years, Tall Cedars, Lebanon, for 50 years and served on its drill team, and the Hershey Shrine Club. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter Joanne, wife of William Slothower of Chambersburg; a sister Gloria Dill of Lewes, DE, two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; four stepdaughters, Dorothy Herr of Annville, Dolores Leedy of Myerstown, Linda, wife of Charles Wary of Harrisburg, and Bonita, wife of Eric Weaver of Palmyra; 10 step-grandchildren; and several step-greatgrandchildren.
