Mr. James Randall Scruggs age 67, of Frisco City, AL passed away on Monday April 28, 2014. Mr. Scruggs was a lifelong resident of Frisco City. He was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church. Mr. Scruggs was a retired Pulp Mill Operator.
Mr. Scruggs was preceded in death by his two brothers Jimmy Scruggs and Mike Scruggs; one sister Peggy Baggett.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years Mrs. Shirley Kimbro Scruggs of Frisco City, AL; two sons Brian Randall Scruggs and James Ryan (Kristina) Scruggs both of Frisco City, AL; one daughter Amy (Todd) Scruggs McCrory of Monroeville, AL; two brothers Ray Scruggs of Clanton, AL and Bill Scruggs of Excel, AL; three grandchildren Nathan McCrory, Emma Grace McCrory and Annalia Scruggs.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 6PM to 8PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 11AM at Eastwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Dunn and Rev. Jerry Gibson officiating. Internment will be at Mexia Baptist Cemetery.
