Leona F. Bruce, 77, 803 W. 11th St., died at 10:15 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 1997, at Mercy Health Center St. Joseph's Unit.
There will be no services or public visitation. The Ed Siegert-Al Didesch Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave., is in charge of arrangements.
Leona was born on Oct. 23, 1919, in Cassville, Wis., daughter of John and Tilly (Lancaster) Cornwell.
Surviving are a son, Don Bruce, of Tampa, Fla.; five grandchilden, Tania Bruce and Alixandra Hunsucker, both of Dubuque , Randall Bruce, of Tampa, J. Scott Bruce, of Humble, Texas, and Michelle Beckman, of Longmont, Colo.; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Edith Ferring , of Lansing, Iowa; and a loving friend, Jean Bruce.
